    MSC Malaysia Job Camp - IC Product Development Engineering (CP349)

    SynopsisJob camp (JC) offerred by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) is designed specifically for any Knowledge worker who wants to improve or expand their current ICT skills and knowledge. This program seeks to help knowledge workers with the support and access to courses and trainings to stay aligned with the current needs of the ICT industry.

    DreamCatcher Consulting has been appointed by MDeC to offer programs in engineering tracks namely VLSI, RF and high-speed digital, embedded system design, and telecommunication.

    The general entry requirement for the program is at least a Diploma Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering who are available for employment. Upon completion of the training program, participants are expected to acquire skill sets required to meet existing vacancies in the industry.

    Course MethodologyThe training program is delivered in classroom lecture, interspersed with hands-on exercises to allow trainees to gain first-hand experience in various IC product development engineering flow.

    The participants are first introduced the IC fabrication process and PC architecture to give the overall picture and trends of the engineering activities in semiconductor industry, particularly that involved high-end digital VLSI devices like microprocessor.

    The participants will then be taught essential knowledge in IC product development engineering, including semiconductor physics, high-speed signal integrity, test methodology, wafer test and yield analysis.

    Having acquired the basic knowledge, the participants will then be taught major product test development skills required including Microsoft Excel data analysis and reporting, C programming, and Perl programming.
